radar picture combined and you can see basically that texas is getting much needed rain in parts of new mexico getting snow showers. also snow will be falling in the colorado area as well. basically the middle of the country is where we are looking at some cold fronts coming through and then we'll eventually start to see some of that impacting our area slowly. it's a slow moving cold front. you can see impacting parts of the middle section of the country north of texas into parts of kansas, missouri, and in the plains. we have high pressure in the mid atlantic. we have clear skies. another cold night, but then we'll see plenty of sunshine. so, chilly saturday for your weekend starting off and milder for your sunday. great for holiday prep. showers arriving by tuesday. slow moving cold front that we're going to see here. here's a look at your forecast overnight. clear and cold. lows will be 27 to 37 degrees. tomorrow morning mostly sunny and cold. we need a jacket. winds will be light. sunrise at 7:09. hopefully we'll be sleeping in. afternoon mostly sunny and chilly. need your sunglasse

. generally a tenth of an inch, maybe 15 hundredths of an inch. we'll zoom in. some moisture back into texas. this is the second storm. this is great news for texas. rain throughout most of the eastern 1-half of texas. that is incredibly good news. that is going to be our rain tomorrow night. we'll get a rest tomorrow. lot of clouds, yes, but it will stay dry for the morning commute and the evening commute. right now we just have some clouds. all the showers are gonna cross the delmarva into the ocean. look at the temperatures. still 60 downtown. 57 in gaithersburg and leesburg. it's 54 in fredericksburg and this is crazy warm, 55 in cumberland, we jump the divide it's only 45. that's not much of a drop. both commutes should be dry. that said, rain comes in pretty quickly thursday night. mild again on thursday. we'll hit 60 because we hit 60 already. rain again thursday night. this is a much more significant event. probably a half an inch to maybe 3-quarters of an inch. and then dry and cooler on friday. we're going to trade the 60s for the 50s. it's not exactly going to be crazy cold. overn

hackers known as anonymous obtained thousands of credit card numbers from a texas based think tank and charged various charitable donations. one victim says $700 was taken from his account and given to the red cross, save the children and other charities. the hackers say they lined up enough targets to continue hacking into accounts for another week. >>> an update on the double murder that prompted an amber alert in virginia last night. 2-year-old caden burnside is safe and we know who he was with when he was taken. police say 6-year-old edward bottomer, jr. and cheryl clap were shot to death in richmond. the gunman fled in the couple's car unaware caden was in the back seat. police are looking for clemens in connection with those two murders. >>> some scary moments for a motel worker. a man with a gun tried to force the woman into a room at the motel 6 on old annapolis road. the man reportedly held a gun to the woman's head but took off when he saw a hotel guest look out of another room to see what was going on. a motel employee fortunately escaped unharmed. the suspect was not ye

of a couple areas of low pressure. one is down in the south now through texas in arkansas. and this is going to be our next system. mainly it's going to produce some rain on friday night. the frontal boundary still not quite through us. we get through overnight and usher in colder air. tomorrow is going to be one of the cold days where we're going to have the high temperatures in 45 minutes at midnight. it will be 62 or 63. but temps generally will fall throughout the day, so don't leave home without a light jacket. generally showers are gone. skies have returned at least partly cloudy in most spots. and we're going to have a little break before the next system in arkansas gets up here. you'll need your sunglasses in the morning if you're driving in 66 eastbound. cooler on friday with clouds returning very quickly. right around the lunch hour. light rain is possible south on friday night. and a mixture actually west of i81 and even colder on sunday. maybe some flurries everywhere on sunday. going to get us in the mood. here is a look at the future cast now. tomorrow morning just mix of sun a
